If it’s into work only, you end up living the most of your life in other dimension. And that’s not what Buddhism teaches us – live in the present moment. So, how can you do both?

I got together with an old friend on his Appleton Estate yesterday. We were supposed to go from there to international book’s fair but we got somehow stuck, on the Estate. So decided to call a day and postpone for today. We talked some business stuff. Nothing happened.
It was a rainy day and my wife called to ask me when do I plan to come back home. I told her that I was still helping the friend with the stuff.
“Which stuff?”, she asked.
“The bottles. We carry the liquid from one room to another.”
“What fucking rooms are you talking about?”
“From living room to the bathroom.”
She hung up.

I made love twice, 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., ate my wife’s bolo de tapioca with 3 coffees, aspirin and a grapefruit juice and here I am contemplating how to balance present with future, as well as with if-phrases. May the force be with me!
I’ve always hated that movie.
